The ‘New’ And Unique Design Approach

Clients receive professional design consultation and guidance, conceptual design direction, a presentation package and an adjoining FF & E and Finishes Schedule plus quotation of scope of work for each project. Investing in our Interior Design program will involve a design fee billable prior to commencement of any work.

Step 1. Consultation

The first consultation between HC Group and Client will go through the scope of work agreed upon for each project, client’s goals, design aspirations and direction and budget. A thorough analysis will be used to create a solid foundation for the direction and scope of work for each individual project.
It is important to ensure that all main decision makers are present at this meeting and we ask clients to please invest 2-3 hours of time to thoroughly conduct this consultation. This meeting is usually held at HC Group.where our services and capabilities can be demonstrated.
Please be prepared to discuss the following main topics in this consultation:
· Scope of project in detail – this will be agreed upon by both parties with clear direction on what work is assigned and to whom.
· Client’s taste, preferences, likes and dislikes, goals and aspirations for the business, style and lifestyle.
· Budget- HC Group will guide clients through determining a realistic and achievable budget for the individual project.

Step 2. Site Measure and Assessment

This on- site meeting generally occurs within one week after the letter of agreement and design fee is received. HC Group Design requires detailed measurements and photography of all spaces involved in the project. Clients are to provide a floor plan to import into our 3D software. If one is not available, HC Group will conduct a site measure.

Step 3. Interactive Full-Day Design Workshop

A design experience unique to the Club industry.
This bespoke and personalised one on one interactive day between Client and Designer allows the client to be front and centre of the conceptual Design and Operational Space planning. The client can see right in front of them the design of their site taking place using 3D modelling programs and industry. We at HC Group want clients to take us through the space as operators, to really ensure the design and space planning is tailored to their needs. The workshop is held at the HC Group offices as this allows clients to test and try physical furniture on site before committing to the selections put forward by the assigned Designers.
The full day will typically run through with the following focuses:
· Operational Space and circulation planning
· Conceptual Design Scheme
· HC Group Scope of Works
· General Budgeting
The goal of the Design Workshop is to efficiently produce a design direction and fit out scheme that clients will feel very much a part of. Of equal importance, this process empowers decision makers to make decisions.

Step 4. Design Concept Presentation

Upon completion and approval of the overall design scheme, a presentation package is presented to clients to keep and use.
This will typically consist of:
· Fully rendered 3D model images
· Drive through video of the space to be refurbished
· Basic set of drawings such as plans, sections and elevations (If Applicable)
· FF & E and Finishes schedule
· Project Quotation
Depending on the scope of work for each individual project agreed upon client and HC Group, more advanced documentation drawings can be provided.

Step 5. Project Approval

Upon approval and deposit received, HC Group will move the project forward into the beginning stage of ordering and booking production space for manufacturing. Commencement of any official documentation such as Council DA, CDC or/and shopping centre approval will also be agreed upon in this stage.
